The list of things that it's a set of:
ALTER TABLE `logins` ADD `categories`
SET ('spammer', 'murderer', 'kidnapper', 'thief', 'top-poster', 'terrorist');
Also, check that this is available on your version of MySQL.

It's available, I guess what has me buggered is that phpMyAdmin seems
like it will allow the interface to do this, but there's no way to add
the SET values.
the proper syntax for altering the table is :
ALTER TABLE logins ADD (categories varchar(20))
i think it will surely disappeared ur problem.
and if someone get right syntax from that which includes SET ,,,,,,so
plz inform me.......THANX ... :-) This thread has been closed and replies have been disabled. Please start a new discussion. Similar topics |

Hi all
I recently noticed when trying to optimise a major query of a chess website
I am the webmaster of, that adding an order by for "gamenumber" which is a
clustered index field as in for example "order by timeleft desc, gamenumber
desc" actually speeded up the queries and reduced sql server 2000 timeouts.
I have an ASP error log and I am fairly sure that a dramatic reduction in
sql server timeouts is simply attributed to adding an...

Hello All,
I have these tables (lets call it ‘EmpCalls', ‘EmpOrders', and
‘Stats') that each contain the list of EmployeeIDs, I want to be able
to create a Module in which I could call in my VB form (by clicking
and command button)that will add a column (field) to each table and
label it with the current date that is specified in my form. Does
anyone know how I can go about doing this?
Any suggestion will be greatly appreciated.

This is an "Add product" form.
The user will enter a ProductNo (catalog number), select a Product Class
(from cascading combo boxes) and then click a button to create the product.
When a product is added, a recordset (class) from a table (tblClassDetails -
fields are: ClassID, SpecID) will be cloned into another table
(tblClassProJoin - fields are ClassID, ProductID, SpecID and Value).
Obviously, ClassID and SpecID will be cloned.

Hi,
Is there a way to add a field to an existing table using a query of
some sort (without needing to manually add a field to the table). I
know how to do it with a make table query, but I have a specific need
to only add a new field to a table if possible. Here's a simplified
example of what I'm trying to do:
I get a file with the following two fields:
First Name

I built and employment report from the employment table. I then had to
add a field to the table. I now need to add that field to the report.
I can't seem to be able to do that by clicking on table icon and adding
the field as it is not listed.
How am I able to add the new field to the report?

Trying to figure out the technique which should be used
to add rows to a datagrid. I am thinking that I would
want an "Add" button on the footer, but I am not quite
sure how to do that. Is that the best method? Do you
have a sample of how to do this?

Hello
I'm a network technician in training and I need your help.
I am currently learning how to create and manage the different types of VPNs and I have a question about LAN-to-LAN VPNs.
The last exercise I practiced was to create a LAN-to-LAN VPN between two Pfsense firewalls, by using IPSEC protocols.
I succeeded, with both firewalls in the same network. But I'm wondering if it's possible to do the same thing, with 2 Pfsense firewalls...
