We have Session Data lost randomly and Session State expired early.
Our Intranet Application uses Window Server 2003 and .Net Framework 1.1. We
set Session Time out to 60 minutes. but user Session Data lost randomly and
Session State sometime expired early.

As my posting title suggests I'm having problems using InProc Session
state in my ASP .NET app.
I wrote a site for a friend which uses ADO .NET to keep track of a
simple customer/purchases database. A user creates an account and a
database entry is added to a customer table. Once a user successfully

i am developing an asp.net web based application using javascript as the server side scripting language. The application makes constant use of an access database and session variables. in a random way, the session variables are lost causing the application to break. The only software on the xp-pro box is iis, .NET framework, office 2003 and 3 com objects: aspmail, aspimage and aspsmartupload. There is no virus detection software.

I know this issue has been brought up many times, but I have tried many of
the solutions to no avail. I wanted to give my specific case to see if
someone could be of any help.
We are using the sessionstate inproc mode and users are randomly losing
their session. I do not believe it is happening across all users at one
time. It seems to happen to different users at different times, but I am

Hi Everyone:
I have a web application running on .NET 2.0 under IIS 6.0 and users of
this application seem to be loosing their session randomly - we havent
been able to identify any pattern, except for warnings in the event
viewer that say "A process serving application pool xyz terminated
unexpectedly."
..NET 1.1 is also installed on the same machine -- there are separate
app pools for 2.0 and 1.1 apps.

Our website contains session variables that are used to validate if a user is
logged in etc. We have found that these variables are randomly lost while
navigating the website.
We set up some basic code (as shown below) which used a meta tag to refresh
an aspx page every second. It tests whether there is any content in a
session variable, if not then it writes a timestamp to a text file, recreates
the data in the variable and continues....

I am unable to find appropriate documentation on the type promotion of bit-fields when using the generalised comparison operator "<=>".
The problem is that using the GNU compilers, it seems that the internal comparison operator "<=>" tries to promote arguments from unsigned to signed.
