Hi,
I just downloaded PHP-4.3.3 for win32 and got the extensions folder and
dropped it intot he root of the PHP directory and set it's path in the
PHP.ini:
extension_dir = "c:/php/extensions/"
But I am still getting the error that it can't find the php_mhash.dll though
I can see that it is indeed in the folder.

Hi all,
I am pretty new to PHP. I was reading PHP manual and trying out the
example from 2nd
chapter (A simple Tutorial). When i try to print the variable as
given in the example it returns
a empty value instead of returning the browser type.
Here is the line which i am using in my code and from manual:
<?php echo $_SERVER; ?>

I've read on earlier posts that PHP has to be compiled with "--enable-exif"
in order for this function to be available and that it will appear in the
phpinfo() screen display. I maintain files on two different linux servers
and neither appears to have this function available; is it supposed to
appear in its own section like gd and mysql?
And, how does one go about compiling PHP on a Windows XP box to make this
function available?

Hello all,
I am writing a script where I need to use the system() function to call
htpasswd. I can do this just fine on the command line...works great
(see attached file, test.php). When my webserver runs that part of the
script (see attached file, snippet.php), though, it doesn't go through.
I don't get an error message or anything...it just returns a "1"
(whereas it should return a "0") as far as I can tell. I have read the
PHP...

Hi folks.
I'm installing PHP 5 with Apache 2 as a module (also with MySQL embedded in
php as an extension along with gd and tiny) on a Win2003 server. When I
start Apache2 as a service without the php.ini in the C:\WINDOWS directory,
Apache starts. PHP also functions (my test.php file (<? phpinfo(); ?>)
produces the expected output), however, none of the three embedded modules
is active (which is to be expected). When I add the...

For some reason, when PHP starts, it doesn't want to load some extensions that I KNOW are there. Here's the startup log:
Parent: Received restart signal -- Restarting the server.
Child 5176: Exit event signaled. Child process is ending.
PHP Warning: PHP Startup: Unable to load dynamic library 'C:\Apache2\php5\ext\php_exif.dll' - The specified module could not be found.

Using PHP 5.26 Thread Safe.
I noticed that php_exif.dll requires php_mbstring.dll. So both files get
placed into extension_dir folder which loads other files properly.
While trying to figure this out, I noticed some oddities that probably
should get fixed.
1) The PHP website suggests that libeay32.dll and ssleay32.dll should NOT
get placed into the %system% folder.

Let's talk about the concept of autonomous AI software engineers and no-code agents. These AIs are designed to manage the entire lifecycle of a software development project—planning, coding, testing, and deployment—without human intervention. Imagine an AI that can take a project description, break it down, write the code, debug it, and then launch it, all on its own....
Now, this would greatly impact the work of software developers. The idea...

Hello
I'm a network technician in training and I need your help.
I am currently learning how to create and manage the different types of VPNs and I have a question about LAN-to-LAN VPNs.
The last exercise I practiced was to create a LAN-to-LAN VPN between two Pfsense firewalls, by using IPSEC protocols.
I succeeded, with both firewalls in the same network. But I'm wondering if it's possible to do the same thing, with 2 Pfsense firewalls...
