compiling error with php 5.0.4 on Gentoo Linux 2005.1

Hi!
After I installed with the instruction (as it is described in the
README) Apache 2.0 I tried to compile php.
The configure command:
../configure --with-apxs2=/usr/local/apache2/bin/apxs --with-mysql
--with-openssl --with-kerberos --enable-dbx

The compilation error results:
/tmp/php-5.0.4/main/reentrancy.c: In function `php_readdir_r' :
/tmp/php-5.0.4/main/reentrancy.c:19 3: error: too few arguments to
function `readdir_r'

How can I solve that problem?!

For any help, Thank you.

Hi, all; I'm strictly an amateur developer who has dabbled in a half dozen languages on eight or nine systems over 20 years or so. I have never devoted the time or energy to thoroughly learn any one of them, so I have become a true JOATAMON (Jack Of All Trades And Master Of None). I apologize in advance for any truly newb sounding questions. I did Google for this in several places first (Zope.org, Gentoo forums, and Google UseNet...

Hello: At the risk of starting a flame-war, I'd like some more details on the use of Gentoo Linux for a production PostgreSQL server. There have been a couple of comments lately that it is not such a great idea; does anyone have specific experience they'd be willing to share? Some background: we've been running PostgreSQL on assorted versions of Red Hat for a couple of years. RedHat Enterprise is not an option, so we currently have a...

Most computers default to English, but sometimes we require a different language, especially when relocating. Forgot to request a specific language before your computer shipped? No problem! You can effortlessly switch the default language on Windows 10 without reinstalling. I'll walk you through it. First, let's disable language synchronization. With a Microsoft account, language settings sync across devices. To prevent any complications,...

Hello folks, I am unable to find appropriate documentation on the type promotion of bit-fields when using the generalised comparison operator "<=>". The problem is that using the GNU compilers, it seems that the internal comparison operator "<=>" tries to promote arguments from unsigned to signed. This is as boiled down as I can make it. Here is my compilation command: g++-12 -std=c++20 -Wnarrowing bit_field.cpp Here is the code in...

Dear forum friends, With the development of smart home technology, a variety of wireless communication protocols have appeared on the market, such as Zigbee, Z-Wave, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, etc. Each protocol has its own unique characteristics and advantages, but as a user who is planning to build a smart home system, I am a bit confused by the choice of these technologies. I'm particularly interested in Zigbee because I've heard it does some...

Let's talk about the concept of autonomous AI software engineers and no-code agents. These AIs are designed to manage the entire lifecycle of a software development project—planning, coding, testing, and deployment—without human intervention. Imagine an AI that can take a project description, break it down, write the code, debug it, and then launch it, all on its own.... Now, this would greatly impact the work of software developers. The idea...
