Just curious;
I'm getting redirected to pages on some "Hurricane Electric" website.
This is happening when I try to read the print friendly doc pages
which I have used and bookmarked for a long time.
http://us2.php.net/manual/en/print/index.php
Happened again when I just tried to download the documentation bundle

Hi,
For a few years, I have been developing each of my clients websites using a
seperate web site (unique IP) to solve problems with relative URL's between
my local dev station and the production server.
Recently, I have needed to collaborate with other developers using Source
Safe. But, in order to get source safe working properly, you really need to
be working in virtual directories of the default web site.

Hi
We have a high traffic PHP built website which, for reasons beyond my
control, is hosted on a twin processor (Zeus) Windows 2003/IIS6 server.
PHP 4.4.1 came preinstalled as a CGI but because of the load we were
getting random 'CGI Header' errors. Microsoft have found the problem to
be with the processors entering 'race mode' (because of the high number
of CGI processes being created), and have advised us to run PHP in
ISAPI mode. So...

Currently, my company's website uses a custom ISAPI filter to map a web
user to a network user, and give the user access to our website. This
has worked great for several years. We now want to add .NET
functionality to our website, and I am looking for a .NET solution to
replace the ISAPI authentication. We have Visual Studio 2005, SQL Server
2005 and IIS 6.
With the current setup, user id, password and the network user id are
stored in...

I have a website that will contain several web apps at some point.
The website is actually an ASP.NET 2.0 web app. I've compiled a DLL
and have a bin folder on the web server. There is only one DLL at the
moment named mysite.dll. I will put future web apps (?) in subfolders
of this site but may later on move them into their own root folder
(once I'm on a dedicated server). I'd like recommendations for the
best way to go about setting...

I've seen a similar post about this problem but still cannot find an
automated solution. Below is the code I'm using to create a website
(for IIS 6.0) via C#. once the site is created, it will not serve aspx
pages. If I:
1. go to IIS Manager
2. view the properties for the site in question
3. go to the tab
4. click next to the Application Name textbox in the
Application Settings area.

Most computers default to English, but sometimes we require a different language, especially when relocating. Forgot to request a specific language before your computer shipped? No problem! You can effortlessly switch the default language on Windows 10 without reinstalling. I'll walk you through it.
First, let's disable language synchronization. With a Microsoft account, language settings sync across devices. To prevent any complications,...

Hello folks,
I am unable to find appropriate documentation on the type promotion of bit-fields when using the generalised comparison operator "<=>".
The problem is that using the GNU compilers, it seems that the internal comparison operator "<=>" tries to promote arguments from unsigned to signed.
This is as boiled down as I can make it.
Here is my compilation command:
g++-12 -std=c++20 -Wnarrowing bit_field.cpp
Here is the code in...

Dear forum friends,
With the development of smart home technology, a variety of wireless communication protocols have appeared on the market, such as Zigbee, Z-Wave, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, etc. Each protocol has its own unique characteristics and advantages, but as a user who is planning to build a smart home system, I am a bit confused by the choice of these technologies. I'm particularly interested in Zigbee because I've heard it does some...

Let's talk about the concept of autonomous AI software engineers and no-code agents. These AIs are designed to manage the entire lifecycle of a software development project—planning, coding, testing, and deployment—without human intervention. Imagine an AI that can take a project description, break it down, write the code, debug it, and then launch it, all on its own....
Now, this would greatly impact the work of software developers. The idea...
