Hi,
I'm working on an article about compiling java-sources to c++.
I'm interessted if someone would use this to write a program in java (and
the good IDE's available for java) and convert this to C++ to get the
advantages and speed of this language.

I think you would agree with me that a C compiler that directly
produces Java Byte Code to be run on any JVM is something that is
missing to software programmers so far. With such a tool one could
stay with C and still be able to produce Java byte code for
platform independent apps. Also, old programs (with some tweaking)
could be re-compiled and ported to the JVM.
We have been developing such a tool over the last 2 years and currently...

Does anybody know if there's any C99 to C89 translator out there,
either free
or commercial. I searched on Google but couldn't see it so far.
Thanks for any tips.

I have to convert a Java app to .NET, i found and used the conversion tool
which converts java to C#, but it only converted about 10% of it, how hard
would it be to re-write the java app and keep most of the same logic and
could I use alot of the same code? I noticed in the conversion that alot of
the java code remained the same, so how close is Java to C#?
is there another tool to do this conversion much cleaner and easier to fix
when...

Hi all,
I want to build a corresponding c++ version for a big java project
(e.g. Geotools(www.geotools.org))? Which is the quickest/easiest way? I
don't want to use the Java VM, then JNI is not suitable.
I know this is a open issue, and I want to know your options.
Thank you!

Hello, I was hoping to get some opinions on a subject. I've been
programming Python for almost two years now. Recently I learned Perl,
but frankly I'm not very comfortable with it. Now I want to move on
two either Java or C++, but I'm not sure which. Which one do you think
is a softer transition for a Python programmer? Which one do you think
will educate me the best?

Most computers default to English, but sometimes we require a different language, especially when relocating. Forgot to request a specific language before your computer shipped? No problem! You can effortlessly switch the default language on Windows 10 without reinstalling. I'll walk you through it.
First, let's disable language synchronization. With a Microsoft account, language settings sync across devices. To prevent any complications,...

Overview:
Windows 11 and 10 have less user interface control over operating system update behaviour than previous versions of Windows. In Windows 11 and 10, there is no way to turn off the Windows Update option using the Control Panel or Settings app; it automatically checks for updates and installs any it finds, whether you like it or not. For most users, this new feature is actually very convenient. If you want to control the update process,...

Hello
I'm a network technician in training and I need your help.
I am currently learning how to create and manage the different types of VPNs and I have a question about LAN-to-LAN VPNs.
The last exercise I practiced was to create a LAN-to-LAN VPN between two Pfsense firewalls, by using IPSEC protocols.
I succeeded, with both firewalls in the same network. But I'm wondering if it's possible to do the same thing, with 2 Pfsense firewalls...
