Howdy all,
In searching for tools to run automated regression tests against a Web
aplication, I found (amid a number of tools requiring non-free Java) the
WebUnit code:
<http://webunit.sourceforge.net/>
Unfortunately, the code is somewhat beta and doesn't seem to have been
updated since 02-Feb-2002. Does anyone know if this has been updated

This post is somewhat off topic, but I know of no better place to post
it!
SourceForge is often mentioned here. SourceForge itself hosts thousands
of forums, but none of them (AFAIK) are for discussing sourceforge
itself. There does not seem to exist any forum where it's appropriate
to discuss SourcForge.
The SourceForge admins are therefore cut off from any public discussion
of their project.
I'm a fan of SourceForge, and I think it...

I am going to make a program that reads files with different
csv-dialects. Sometimes the field-separator or line-separator can be
more than one character. The standard CSV module in Python 2.3 is not
a good solution, because it expects single characters.
Example of a file
"ABC"<>"DEF"""<>"GHI"¤¤123<>456<>"XYZ"¤¤
Here the field delimiter is "<>" and the "line" terminator "¤¤".

Suppose I wanted to select all the element nodes whose tags were
either foo or bar. One way would be to join the results of //Foo
and //bar. Is there a way to achieve the same with a single
expression that included the two alternatives? Something like
(pushing the analogy with Unix shell conventions) //{foo,bar} ?
Thanks,
kj

Hi!
I don't want to use eval() in order to parse a user-supplied formula.
What alternatives do I have? PHP has no standard functionality for
tokenizing or parsing expressions in this regard.
Here is a simple example: The user supplies the following formula in
string format,
"a = (6+10)/4",
and the script needs to find out what the value of 'a' is.

Hello,
I want to store (database-)data on my local machine. Traditionally would
choose to use a ms-access database to store my information.

(Berkeley DB / embedded mysql / ... ?)
-> What is the preferred way to access this data (ADO.* classes or the

Hello all,
I selected Pathan recently to add basic XPath query support for an
application.
However, the site gives me an impression of "abandonware" as the latest
release has been in beta for about two years now.
I had tried making sense of Apache Xalan, but the material was heavily
geared towards XSLT and some other acronyms i wasn't interested in ...
and the sample weren't encouraging.

Most computers default to English, but sometimes we require a different language, especially when relocating. Forgot to request a specific language before your computer shipped? No problem! You can effortlessly switch the default language on Windows 10 without reinstalling. I'll walk you through it.
First, let's disable language synchronization. With a Microsoft account, language settings sync across devices. To prevent any complications,...

Hello folks,
I am unable to find appropriate documentation on the type promotion of bit-fields when using the generalised comparison operator "<=>".
The problem is that using the GNU compilers, it seems that the internal comparison operator "<=>" tries to promote arguments from unsigned to signed.
This is as boiled down as I can make it.
Here is my compilation command:
g++-12 -std=c++20 -Wnarrowing bit_field.cpp
Here is the code in...

Hello
I'm a network technician in training and I need your help.
I am currently learning how to create and manage the different types of VPNs and I have a question about LAN-to-LAN VPNs.
The last exercise I practiced was to create a LAN-to-LAN VPN between two Pfsense firewalls, by using IPSEC protocols.
I succeeded, with both firewalls in the same network. But I'm wondering if it's possible to do the same thing, with 2 Pfsense firewalls...
