Hi all!
I'm trying to get remote debugging working with phpeclipse. I think i've
installed
everything correctly, and the debugger in eclipse starts, but breakpoints
are ignored
and nothing seems to happen :(
Is there some way to simply check if the debug plugin for php is correctly
installed

Any php editors recommended for Windows systems?
What about a compiled help metafile (.chm)? I'm looking
over http://www.php.net right at the moment through the
list of editors. Looking for something with syntax highlights,
intellisense (if available).

After installing PHPEclipse, I can no longer open php files in the
browser - I simply get a white page - no errors. The funny thing is
that php files CAN be opened in the embedded browser that is contained
within the Eclipse IDE.
I'd really appreciate any help you all can offer on this; I'm out of
ideas.
Thanks,
Michael McDonnell

hi all,
debugging PHP applications interactively is possible, easy and free. I
am talking about PHPEclipse and using it for debugging over several
scripts or debugging through a session. Since I have wasted a lot of
time writing echo statements all over the code in order to confirm
program flow and watch variables, I feel I must share this with others
who will be facing similar problems.
PHPEclispe users can go to Step 5 directly....

Hi,
I have troubles using PHPeclipse on only one workstation: On my laptop
it works fine, perfect.
On my other workstation: When I made an double click on the navigator on
the left hand side, then an new eclipse instance will start. I say "no"
in the opening message box what is asking for an new workspace, then the
file is now in the edit-main-window.
But not always. Sometimes. Irritating.

So far I've been using the PHPEclipse plugin for developing with Eclipse. I
recently found out that there's another plugin called PHP Developer Tools (PDT),
which I'm about to try out.
Does anyone have experience with both and have a recommendation?

Hello,
I have started learning PHP5. I would like to programme in Windows XP and
Fedora Linux. I have found two IDEs for PHP (if I understood correctly):
- Eclipse PDT,
- EasyEclipse for PHP.
What is the difference? Which one to choose? I would like to debug my
applications.
Please help. Thanks in advance.

Hello folks,
I am unable to find appropriate documentation on the type promotion of bit-fields when using the generalised comparison operator "<=>".
The problem is that using the GNU compilers, it seems that the internal comparison operator "<=>" tries to promote arguments from unsigned to signed.
This is as boiled down as I can make it.
Here is my compilation command:
g++-12 -std=c++20 -Wnarrowing bit_field.cpp
Here is the code in...

Hello
I'm a network technician in training and I need your help.
I am currently learning how to create and manage the different types of VPNs and I have a question about LAN-to-LAN VPNs.
The last exercise I practiced was to create a LAN-to-LAN VPN between two Pfsense firewalls, by using IPSEC protocols.
I succeeded, with both firewalls in the same network. But I'm wondering if it's possible to do the same thing, with 2 Pfsense firewalls...
