Dear all,
I'm not sure if this is the write newsgroup, but ...
I've been trying to update the web-site for the local orphanage
(www.bedaya.org.my) via FP2002.
This whole project started on my humble Win98 and FP2000, then I've upgraded
to an XP and FP2002. Without reading any on-line docs, I've simply reloaded
the website from HD (via C:\Inetpub\xxx) into FP2002. It seemed OK.

I have a strange situation with my Access 2000 database. I have code in the
database which has worked fine for years, and now all of a sudden doesn't
work fine on one or two of my client's machines. The code opens MS Word
through Automation and then opens a particular Word doc. It's still working
fine on most machines; but on one or two of them, the user is getting an

None of our clickonce applications seems to want to install.
We tried it on a Windows 2000 server shared folder, and the clickonce log
file tells us that some file is missing while it is absolutely wrong, the
file is there and is has all rights available. Copying it locally solves the
trick.
Another problem is the uninstall, one of the clickonce seems to have been
installed and I find it back in the add/remove software list, but I cannot...

I get python crashes and (in better cases) strange Python exceptions when (in most cases) importing and using cookielib lazy on demand in a thread.
It is mainly with cookielib, but remember the problem also with other imports (e.g. urllib2 etc.).
And again very often in all these cases where I get weired Python exceptions, the problem is around re-functions - usually during re.compile calls during import (see some of the exceptions below). But...

I've tried to publish my VB Express 2005 application to a web site.
The publish process completes successfully, and I can fire up the ..../publish.htm page from the web site with no problem. There is a button on the install page hyperlinked to ....Myapp.application When I click on that button, the browser simply displays the XML content of Myapp.application and the installation effort stops there.
Any throughts?
