Analyzing a PDF

4 New Member
Hi. I'm quite new in Perl and I'm stuck creating a new program and need some help. I need to analyze the structure of pdf files in order to discover hyperlinks, attached files, etc among others things, but specially this two features. Could anyone help me finding the modules and methods I need to perform this? I have searched through CPAN but with almost no result. Thanks.

There are a lot of PDF modules listed on CPAN. But I have no experience with any of them.

Yes, I know of all this modules, but almost all of them are for PDF generation, not for pdf files analysis.

Thanks but that is not the all the info I need. I have already obtained that through other modules (as PDF.111 doesn't seem to work on my perl buid, possibly due to a bug). In either case, the info I need is not provided. Will keep browsing through the different modules, though I think I will have to make my own one following Adobe PDF specifications. Thanks anyway.
