how to pass lines values from a telnet to mysql

2 New Member
Hello,

I am new in Perl programming and I have to do some application quick.
What I need is to do a telnet to a machine, this machine is sending continously values in columns with a format timestamp channel1 channel2 channel3 channel4
(e.g: 20060620 22:10:00 2.333 1.565 7.000 2.333)
20060620 22:10:01 2,444 1.222 2.22 3.000)
so I want to open the telnet session, and pass the values into a DB.
I know how to open the telnet session, but I don't know to pass the values (arrays..) to the DB.

Please help

cheers

Have you resolved your issue? If so, then please post a solution to your problem.

I would just get the results from the telnet session into an array then do an insert into the DB as you would any other insert statement.
