How to fix perl command line interpreter encountered a problem and needed to close?

Hi,
In Windows 2003, i installed the Active Perl. When i log into this system, i am facing this error

whats a problem? How to fix it?

You installed the wrong version. 5.6.1 is over 10 years old. At this point, the oldest acceptable version is 5.8.9 but you really should be installing the latest version which is 5.12.3
