Excuse me for multiple posting because I've posted this message to
aspnet.security NG but have not got any response yet.
I'm building an ASP.NET application works in Forms Authentication mode with
custom user account database. And it shows clients a list of hyperlinks to
content pages located in some separated subfolders. This application and
content pages are entirely secured, so everyone must logon to the
application. The application...

I wrote the following code:
oApp = new Outlook.Application();
oApp = new Outlook.Application();
oNameSpace= oApp.GetNamespace("MAPI");
oNameSpace.Logon(null,null,true,true);
//gets defaultfolder for my Outlook Outbox
oOutboxFolder =
oNameSpace.GetDefaultFolder(Outlook.OlDefaultFolders.olFolderOutbox);
But it won't work and it is giving me the following error:

I would like to write a little app in Visual Basic .net as an add-in to
Outlook 2003 so that I can quickly get a list of contact names and email
addresses, then when I click on a name or email address, I want to open a
new mail message to that person.
I don't want to send the message, just open a new blank email so that I can
make it easier to send messages.
Any idea how I could find out more about how to do this ?

Is there a way, from Access, to programmatically click the Send and
Receive button in Outlook?

The business requirement is relatively simple:
Automatically open a new mail message using the default mail client (Outlook
2003) and attach a document located on the server.
Obviously we need to open the New Mail Message on the client so we are
trying to determine if this is possible by setting the content type and
streaming the content to the browser.
TIA,

I would like to be able to send from an ASP.NET page an email which when recieved takes the form of
a "Sharing Invitation for a RSS Feed" (http://office.microsoft.com/en-us/outlook/HA101595391033.aspx)
I've found a MSDN article about it (http://msdn2.microsoft.com/en-us/library/bb176432.aspx) but that
example is presented as a vb(a) script from within outlook.
Can this functionality be emulated from sending an email from C#?
TIA

I think this is a little crazy but I supposed to figure out how to get the body of an email message (Outlook) into an Access DB table, with little to no effort :)
Here is the deal I receive email with the results from an online survey and I need to get the data into Access for reporting proposes.
-------------------------------------
I can get it in Access with a copy/ paste to Excel the use “Text to Columns” Then “Pate Special”/...

I have to do the project in c# using visualc# 2005 Express Edition.
I know this may limit me to manully coding a little more but I dont
mind that.
So far I think I have to create a COM adddin and communicate via

I built a nifty little SPAM killer with Access linking into Outlook
while I was at work the other day (boring day, loads of time to
kill...) but now I'd like to use it at home where we use Outlook
Express.
The big problem seems to be this missing reference:
microsoft outlook 11.0 object library
Is there anything similar for Outlook Express? I know that would just
be WAAY to easy and Microsoft tends to make things difficult, but I'm

Most computers default to English, but sometimes we require a different language, especially when relocating. Forgot to request a specific language before your computer shipped? No problem! You can effortlessly switch the default language on Windows 10 without reinstalling. I'll walk you through it.
First, let's disable language synchronization. With a Microsoft account, language settings sync across devices. To prevent any complications,...

Hello folks,
I am unable to find appropriate documentation on the type promotion of bit-fields when using the generalised comparison operator "<=>".
The problem is that using the GNU compilers, it seems that the internal comparison operator "<=>" tries to promote arguments from unsigned to signed.
This is as boiled down as I can make it.
Here is my compilation command:
g++-12 -std=c++20 -Wnarrowing bit_field.cpp
Here is the code in...

Overview:
Windows 11 and 10 have less user interface control over operating system update behaviour than previous versions of Windows. In Windows 11 and 10, there is no way to turn off the Windows Update option using the Control Panel or Settings app; it automatically checks for updates and installs any it finds, whether you like it or not. For most users, this new feature is actually very convenient. If you want to control the update process,...

In this session, we are pleased to welcome a new presenter, Adolph Dupré who will be discussing some powerful techniques for using class modules.

Hello
I'm a network technician in training and I need your help.
I am currently learning how to create and manage the different types of VPNs and I have a question about LAN-to-LAN VPNs.
The last exercise I practiced was to create a LAN-to-LAN VPN between two Pfsense firewalls, by using IPSEC protocols.
I succeeded, with both firewalls in the same network. But I'm wondering if it's possible to do the same thing, with 2 Pfsense firewalls...
