Hi,
I am still struggling to master C++ and is trying to understand how to
achieve passing arguments using pointers. I got some questions that I
like to post to the experts here, hope you can help to clarify my
doubts. I'm using g++ version 3.3.4. I created 3 classes as below for
testing some concepts. The questions are written as comments in
Bclass.h file. Thank you for your time and tips!

I tried mod_perl. It is too troublesome. Many old scripts stopped running.
Even those running eat memory like crazy.
I wonder why mod_php does not have the problems in mod_perl, such as memory
hog, varible initialization etc.
Is there a way to use Perl scripts at the same speed of PHP without worrying
about those clearing varibles etc in mod_perl.

I want to extract a string from a file,
if the file is like this:
1 This is the string 2 3 4
how could I extract the string, starting from the 10th position (i.e. "T")
and extract 35 characters (including "T") from a file and then go to next
line?

Hi,
while declaring/defining pointer to int/char, What is doing the
compiler exactly . i'm able to get output(String) for all pointer to
char definition(without line # 8&14). But when i include line #8 &
line #14 Its only printing lines 10 & 11 & immediatly its giving seg
fault. Please give suggestion to understand the internal things abt
declaration/definition of pointer varibles.

Bear with me, as I am not a "professional" programmer, but I was
working on part of program that reads parts of four text files into
a buffer which I re-allocate the size as I read each file. I read some
of the items from the bottom up of the buffer, and some from the
top down, moving the bottom items back to the new re-allocated
bottom on every file read.
Then when I've read all four files, I sort the top and bottom items
separately...

Hi,
I am new to C and having problems with the following program.
Basically I am trying to read some files, loading data structures into
memory for latter searching.
I am trying to use structres and arrays of pointers to them.
I have gotten the program to compile with gcc on WinXP.
If the file i read doesnt have alot of records, it runs thru. But once
i add more, it dies. In this program i have 4 files setup to read. The
