Hi there...
I'm recently trying to get a bit acquainted with XML Schemas and XSL.
Now, I have a few questions about XSL stylesheets and templates:
* Is there a way to "enter" a child element of the currently matched
element in the template, so that XPath expressions inside would be
relative to that node? Specifically, I want to do...

Hi,
I have ran into a situation that I think should be possible, but I am
fairly new to XSLT so maybe not.
Suppose I have the following document
<ROOT>
<FOO name="A">
<CHILD name="B"/>
</FOO>

I am developing an ASP.Net application for a client and they need to
modify the page layout from within a form. like the way you edit a
blog template in Blogger. what is the best approach to do that in
ASP.net? is there a better (and more secure) way than setting
permissions so they can edit the .ASPX files in a form? is there any
way to use...

First here is my goal:
When a datalist is rendered to a page and you use the <itemtemplate> the
datalist automatically prints a <tr> <td> start and end tags. Now this
may not be too bad but I have run into a situation repeatedly with the
designing factor of a datalist.
Most of the time when I use a datalist I utilize the header, item, and...

I'm designing a web app that I'd like to be able to allow end-users the
ability to modify the HTML pages (aspx) layout/template without actually
having to be .net developers running vs.net
For instance, I might have a page like this:
<body>
<%getMenu()%>
....html...
<%getContent()%>

Hi,
I am just trying to find out if there is any strong reason for not
using Templates. When we use Templates it is going to replicate the
code for different data types, thus increasing the executable size.
This should not cause any performance issue.
So, is it safe to say that if I can offered to have bigger image size I
can go ahead...

I am looking for a simple php blog to modify. I been have looking
around at different open source blogs like Wordpress but that are too
complicated for my needs.
Basically I just want posts,comments,users and tags. If supported
multiple blogs that would great but I can add that.
Really the simplier the better.
Any suggestions?
Thanks,
Ted

Hello,
Is it possible to modify the templates that come with VS2005? I have
searched all over the place, but can't find them anywhere. I know I can
make my own, but I would like to know if I can modify the ones that are
already there.
TIA

I have the following code at the end of a page that lists some query
results. It starts in a form that asks the user for input, one of two
template pages. One template is a form for user input if there is
input otherwise it changes the template and lists the results on the
other template page. That is why there is a $template variable.

Hello folks,
I am unable to find appropriate documentation on the type promotion of bit-fields when using the generalised comparison operator "<=>".
The problem is that using the GNU compilers, it seems that the internal comparison operator "<=>" tries to promote arguments from unsigned to signed.
This is as boiled down as I can make it. ...

Overview:
Windows 11 and 10 have less user interface control over operating system update behaviour than previous versions of Windows. In Windows 11 and 10, there is no way to turn off the Windows Update option using the Control Panel or Settings app; it automatically checks for updates and installs any it finds, whether you like it or not. For...

Let's talk about the concept of autonomous AI software engineers and no-code agents. These AIs are designed to manage the entire lifecycle of a software development project—planning, coding, testing, and deployment—without human intervention. Imagine an AI that can take a project description, break it down, write the code, debug it, and then...

I am currently learning how to create and manage the different types of VPNs and I have a question about LAN-to-LAN VPNs.
The last exercise I practiced was to create a LAN-to-LAN VPN between two Pfsense firewalls, by using IPSEC protocols.
I succeeded, with both firewalls in...
