How are you calling the module in your script? Is the module installed or otherwise available to your main script via "require" or "lib"? Can we some of your perl code?

"ArtNet::ArtNet " means the ArtNet.pm module is in a folder named ArtNet. Is that the case?

Running Apache 1.3, PHP 4.3, and WinXP, configured acc. to instructions on apache manual and php manual (as far as I can see), but getting "internal server error" in browser... log says "Premature end of script headers" for my simple test scripts PHP runs fine from the command line, incidentally I tried changing the doc_root in php.ini from blank to the path of htdocs -- no difference.

Hi all, I have successfully configured Apache 2.0.4 with RedHat 7.3 and use Python 2.2.3 for cgi scripts. When I start Apache manually through /usr/local/apache/bin/apachectl startssl, I can execute the cgi scripts without any problem from the browser. This works fine. When I put the Apache start line in /etc/rc.local file so that Apache starts automatically at boot time, Apache starts without any problem, and I can access the...

Hi, I'm a newbie at Perl and CGI and hoping someone can point me in the right direction. Recently I've been going through an older book I have on CGI programming to get a start. Most of it involves using Perl 5 though. The book is "Sams Teach Yourself CGI Programming In A Week", by Rafe Colburn. Until recently, things were going smoothly. Then, depending on the script that I'd copy from the book, I'd start getting "Premature end of...

I have been using an xml parsing script to parse a number of rss feeds and return relevant results to a database. The script has worked well for a couple of years, despite having very crude error-trapping (if it finds an error in one of the xml files, the script stops). Recently, the script has stopped working because one of the xml files is badly formed. So I decided to rewrite the script with better error trapping; the script should...

Hello folks, I am unable to find appropriate documentation on the type promotion of bit-fields when using the generalised comparison operator "<=>". The problem is that using the GNU compilers, it seems that the internal comparison operator "<=>" tries to promote arguments from unsigned to signed. This is as boiled down as I can make it. Here is my compilation command: g++-12 -std=c++20 -Wnarrowing bit_field.cpp Here is the code in...

Overview: Windows 11 and 10 have less user interface control over operating system update behaviour than previous versions of Windows. In Windows 11 and 10, there is no way to turn off the Windows Update option using the Control Panel or Settings app; it automatically checks for updates and installs any it finds, whether you like it or not. For most users, this new feature is actually very convenient. If you want to control the update process,...

Dear forum friends, With the development of smart home technology, a variety of wireless communication protocols have appeared on the market, such as Zigbee, Z-Wave, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, etc. Each protocol has its own unique characteristics and advantages, but as a user who is planning to build a smart home system, I am a bit confused by the choice of these technologies. I'm particularly interested in Zigbee because I've heard it does some...

Hello I'm a network technician in training and I need your help. I am currently learning how to create and manage the different types of VPNs and I have a question about LAN-to-LAN VPNs. The last exercise I practiced was to create a LAN-to-LAN VPN between two Pfsense firewalls, by using IPSEC protocols. I succeeded, with both firewalls in the same network. But I'm wondering if it's possible to do the same thing, with 2 Pfsense firewalls...
