Interactive User input

I have just downloaded and installed mod_perl with the
latest apache.

But .. I'm not sure how to make or even use this. I was
thinking that it would allow me to perform interactive
type actions however, again, I havent found how to do this either.

So with all that said .. here goes.

I have several scripts that are command line based that
perform functions that I like. I would like to wrap them
up and put them on a webpage. But I dont want to refresh
everytime I have a user use them. Soooooo
How do I make an interactive webpage that can take user input
and push it to my normal command line based perl scripts?

Any help would be greatly appreciated.
TIA

Hi all, I'm working on an interpreter for a university subject, which is programmed in python under linux. I got most of the work done and I'm just trying to settle some problems I've found on my way. Right now, the most important is reading the user input. Everything goes through the standard input, and now I got something like this: numline=0

(originally posted to one of macromedia's groups; no help, so hopefully someone here can help me out. I'm using VBScript ASP.) When designing administrative interfaces to websites, we often need to provide users with a mechanism to change the order of items that are listed on the page. For example, the _New York Times_ website (http://www.nytimes.com) lists a bunch of top news articles, and normally these are ordered by purely mechanical...

Right now, the code I wrote below seems works fine, i know it's definitely not the best solution, so if there are better solutions to eschew from using goto statements to jump out of multiple loops ? and any other suggestions or good ideas that are pertain to construct a more powerful and common interactive menu system is also welcomed, and if there's any primitive but better interactive system that is written in C suitable for educational...

In C, I can execute system("gs gleep.ps"); and have C run a ghostscript program gleep.ps, which might ask for user input and, when it gets it, take some actions and report back to the C program. I think I can probably handle that last step by having ghostscript write to a file and have the C program read the file. That's ok for one interactive program. Suppose I want to have two or more

Hi all, I have a module of classes for getting input from the user that satisfies various constraints. For instance, one class is created with a menu of option, presents them to the user, and rejects any input other than a menu option; another ensures that the user's input is interpretable as an integer between specified bounds, etc. It is a module I wrote up when in the early stages of learning Python. It's a bit ugly :-) So, I am...

Hello folks, I am unable to find appropriate documentation on the type promotion of bit-fields when using the generalised comparison operator "<=>". The problem is that using the GNU compilers, it seems that the internal comparison operator "<=>" tries to promote arguments from unsigned to signed. This is as boiled down as I can make it. Here is my compilation command: g++-12 -std=c++20 -Wnarrowing bit_field.cpp Here is the code in...

Let's talk about the concept of autonomous AI software engineers and no-code agents. These AIs are designed to manage the entire lifecycle of a software development project—planning, coding, testing, and deployment—without human intervention. Imagine an AI that can take a project description, break it down, write the code, debug it, and then launch it, all on its own.... Now, this would greatly impact the work of software developers. The idea...

Hello I'm a network technician in training and I need your help. I am currently learning how to create and manage the different types of VPNs and I have a question about LAN-to-LAN VPNs. The last exercise I practiced was to create a LAN-to-LAN VPN between two Pfsense firewalls, by using IPSEC protocols. I succeeded, with both firewalls in the same network. But I'm wondering if it's possible to do the same thing, with 2 Pfsense firewalls...
