if by 'message' you mean 'email message', use the MIME::Lite perl
module, available at your local neighborhood CPAN. it rocks.

# -*- coding: utf-8 -*- # Python # Suppose you want to spam your friend, and you have lots of # friends. The solution is to write a program to do it. After a gander # at python docs, one easily found the module for the job. # see http://python.org/doc/2.3.4/lib/SMTP-example.html # the code is a bit long with the command line, but the key lies at # the bottom four lines. The gist is this:

This isn't meant as flame fodder ... Are there perl docs available anywhere on a par with the Javadocs on Sun's site for example? For instance, I am writing a script which needs date/time functionality. I am using perldoc.com to try to find out what I have available and how it works, so I found the Time::localtime package docs here

Hi, I am trying to construct a WSE 2.0 security SOAP request in VBScript on an HTML page to send off to a webservice. I think I've almost got it but I'm having an issue generating the nonce value for the UserName token. Is it possilbe at all to do this from VBScript (or jscript?)? I know I will be limited with what I can do with the SOAP message. Eg/ can't sign/encrypt it etc. Thanks,

Hi all I'm writing a small app that needs to be in C++ and needs to send email from inside the program. I can do this easily in PHP, Perl and Java, but have no clue how to do it in C++. Does anyone know of free code I look at that incorporates this function? Basically, I need to send a simple email to the system support if something goes wrong in the program. The program will be running on Windows and I'll be compiling it under MinGW.

hi, I'm a novice programmer trying to better define a hobby project I'm thinking of. What I would like to do is take a program and embed it or put it within a Python-run GUI, using the GUI just to capture and send input to the application, and display the ouput. Specifically I want to use a Python module such as wxPython, pygame or pyglet to build the UI, capture key presses, and then send a string to the program, an interactive...

Hello folks, I am unable to find appropriate documentation on the type promotion of bit-fields when using the generalised comparison operator "<=>". The problem is that using the GNU compilers, it seems that the internal comparison operator "<=>" tries to promote arguments from unsigned to signed. This is as boiled down as I can make it. Here is my compilation command: g++-12 -std=c++20 -Wnarrowing bit_field.cpp Here is the code in...

Overview: Windows 11 and 10 have less user interface control over operating system update behaviour than previous versions of Windows. In Windows 11 and 10, there is no way to turn off the Windows Update option using the Control Panel or Settings app; it automatically checks for updates and installs any it finds, whether you like it or not. For most users, this new feature is actually very convenient. If you want to control the update process,...

Hello I'm a network technician in training and I need your help. I am currently learning how to create and manage the different types of VPNs and I have a question about LAN-to-LAN VPNs. The last exercise I practiced was to create a LAN-to-LAN VPN between two Pfsense firewalls, by using IPSEC protocols. I succeeded, with both firewalls in the same network. But I'm wondering if it's possible to do the same thing, with 2 Pfsense firewalls...
