Dumping list of installed modules.

Hello,

I'm using ActiveState's perl v5.8.7 built for MSWin32-x86-multi-thread
on a WinXP machine.

I'd like to know if there's a easy way to dump a list of the installed
modules (via ppm) and be able to install them on another window machine.

I'm not sure there's a quick way to do this or if it's easier to
download the .ppd files in a directory and install them.

Thanks in advance,
Freddo

I don't know the answer to your question, but I do know that it is better
asked in comp.lang.perl. misc, which is an active and healthy newsgroup, as
opposed to comp.lang.perl, which is defunct.

P.S.: please read its FAQ and the posting guidelines before asking. Tks.

I'm creating a web based installer for a software project I'm part of and would like to know if there is a way to programatically determine if certain Apache and PHP modules are already installed. Does anyone know if this is possible aside from exec'ing a 'find' to search for the modules on the system? Thanks! Anthony

I just signed up for a web hosting service. They have PHP, but can't tell me which modules (extensions) are installed. Is there a function, or some other easy way, to show all modules (extensions) that are installed? phpinfo() doesn't do this.

Hi! I write, use and reuse a lot of small python programs for variuos purposes in my work. These use a growing number of utility modules that I'm continuously developing and adding to as new functionality is needed. Sometimes I discover earlier design mistakes in these modules, and rather than keeping old garbage I often rewrite the parts that are unsatisfactory. This often breaks backwards compatibility, and since I don't feel like updating...

Let's talk about the concept of autonomous AI software engineers and no-code agents. These AIs are designed to manage the entire lifecycle of a software development project—planning, coding, testing, and deployment—without human intervention. Imagine an AI that can take a project description, break it down, write the code, debug it, and then launch it, all on its own.... Now, this would greatly impact the work of software developers. The idea...

Hello I'm a network technician in training and I need your help. I am currently learning how to create and manage the different types of VPNs and I have a question about LAN-to-LAN VPNs. The last exercise I practiced was to create a LAN-to-LAN VPN between two Pfsense firewalls, by using IPSEC protocols. I succeeded, with both firewalls in the same network. But I'm wondering if it's possible to do the same thing, with 2 Pfsense firewalls...
