Hello,
So my table contains say 100,000 records, and I need to group the
categories in fld1 by the highest count of subcategories. Say fld1
contains categories A, B, C, D, E.
All of these categories contain subcategories AA, AB, AC, AD,...AJ, BA,
BB...BJ, CA, CB, CC...CJ, etc in fld2.
I am counting how many subcategories are listed for each category. Like

It seems like at one time I knew how to do this, but right now I'm
drawing a blank. I know there has to be an easier way to link tables
using more than one field.
Heres a simplfication of the problem:
I have two tables that are not normally linked to each other:
------------
tblClientStatusDetails with these fields:
...ClientStatusID = Autonumber (Primary Key)

Hello,
I'm curious to know if there is a way to select all tables when using a query in access. I have some (unsuccessful) cascading combo boxes and need a little help maybe working out the query. I am familiar with database concepts, but am new to Access. The problem is in the query statement. I'm not sure what to put after FROM because it would depend on the user's entry.
I would need it to look something like this, but my...

Hello folks,
I am unable to find appropriate documentation on the type promotion of bit-fields when using the generalised comparison operator "<=>".
The problem is that using the GNU compilers, it seems that the internal comparison operator "<=>" tries to promote arguments from unsigned to signed.
This is as boiled down as I can make it.
Here is my compilation command:
g++-12 -std=c++20 -Wnarrowing bit_field.cpp
Here is the code in...

Overview:
Windows 11 and 10 have less user interface control over operating system update behaviour than previous versions of Windows. In Windows 11 and 10, there is no way to turn off the Windows Update option using the Control Panel or Settings app; it automatically checks for updates and installs any it finds, whether you like it or not. For most users, this new feature is actually very convenient. If you want to control the update process,...

With the development of smart home technology, a variety of wireless communication protocols have appeared on the market, such as Zigbee, Z-Wave, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, etc. Each protocol has its own unique characteristics and advantages, but as a user who is planning to build a smart home system, I am a bit confused by the choice of these technologies. I'm particularly interested in Zigbee because I've heard it does some...
