Hello,
i have a big problems, to install oracle 9i v9.2 Server to my "Windows
XP" with Service Pack 2 and all security and other updates from
Microsoft.
The "Universall Installer" (Standard Edition is Selected and only
Software is Selected) throws an exception, during the installation by
11 Percent installation progress!

Hi,
I'm attempting to connect to an Oracle database using SQL Server 2005
Express (OS is Windows XP Professional) and having absolutely no luck.
Here is the information SQL Plus
gives me about the database when I log in -
Connected to:
Oracle9i Enterprise Edition Release 9.2.0.6.0 - 64bit Production
With the Partitioning, OLAP and Oracle Data Mining options

Hi All
I downloaded Sql server 2005 express SP2 and attempted to modify the
Bootstrapper package files as I did with SP1
When i try to install SQL server as part of my VS 2005 deployment app I get
an error at the end of the SQL server install phase 'Invalid endpoint'.
(Note SQL server express gets installed OK)
If I run SQL server express SP2 setup directly it I don't get the error

As far as I know VisualStudio contains a MS built-in data provider for accessing
Oracle databases.
Is this built-in MS data provider only in the "full" VisualStudio Edition or in the Express
edition as well ?
Can I download this built-in MS Data Provider for Oracle databases separately and/or
re-install it somehow again ?

I am unable to find appropriate documentation on the type promotion of bit-fields when using the generalised comparison operator "<=>".
The problem is that using the GNU compilers, it seems that the internal comparison operator "<=>" tries to promote arguments from unsigned to signed.
