Hello there,
We're having a some problems with Visual Studio 2003 at the moment. In a
nutshell, devenv.exe terminates when trying to run our application after a
full rebuild. After trying to track this down using Filemon.exe (from
www.sysinternals.com) and debugging devenv.exe (in developer studio :))
using the Microsoft symbols (from the MS Symbol server), it appears that it
crashes in mspdb71.dll when doing a full dependency check.

Hello, I have started to use managed C++ in VS 2003. I have several .NET
class libraries written in MC++.
I am finding the rebuild tendencies in VS to be very annoying. If I make a
minor change to a C++ file (not header), it causes all depend projects to
rebuild. I have not changed any classes or interfaces; I only make a minor
change to some code in a cpp file.
I would expect all depend files to rebuild if I change a class header...

Is there a way to rebuild the code that is generated by the forms designer? It compiles, but it seems to have controls left in it that I previously removed using the designer. I'd like to just rebuild it all to ensure it is clean and does not have unnecessary code in it. (The Rebuild command does not do this.)

I have an 9i RAC on W2K-Advanced Server with 2 Nodes. The 2nd Node has
to be reinstalled from scratch for a problem with Windows.
What must be done (before and) after ReInstallation, that the RAC will
be the same as before??

I have a C# WinForms treeview with 20 or so 'level 0' nodes.
My users will normally have 2 of the 'level 0' branches open down to a '5th
level' selected node.
The users will make updates to the 2 selected nodes that will alter the node
name.
I think I need to rebuild the TreeView to get everything synchronized after
they click an update button.

I had a node failure and rebuild on a sql server 2005 2 node cluster.
the server has been rebuilt with new os. i evicted then re-added the
rebuilt node via cluster administrator. i cannot not reinstall sql
server (or failover).
Failover fails because the sql server resources are not owned by the

I am unable to find appropriate documentation on the type promotion of bit-fields when using the generalised comparison operator "<=>".
The problem is that using the GNU compilers, it seems that the internal comparison operator "<=>" tries to promote arguments from unsigned to signed.
