Hello,
With regards to the Connect dialog on Oracle forms 6i via which we can
connect to Oracle database, should we use the same functionality on
forms run time again?
I mean, I want to make a window with three screen items for username,
password and service name. And on run time after connecting to the
database I use this window to reconnect to an other database.
So when I give the appropriate information, I will connect to the

Hello,
I just want my ADP not to connect on startup. Normally when opening the
xx.adp-file Access tries to connect automatically.
Is there any option, trick, workaround? I found a source to reconnect
or change the connection via vba code, now I want to prohibit Access to
start a connection on startup as this takes too much time.
Thanks in advance!

Hi,
I am trying to connect to an internal corpnet webservice using windows forms
application. I am using eshHeader30.
But the call is failing.
The return message is "SOAP Invalid Request".
What could be possible reasons of this message?
Also, could you tell me some pointers where I can get more information on
"WSSECURITYHEADER".
Thanks,

Hi folks,
I have built a VS2005 project which includes a C# Web Service, C# Windows
Forms app (which uses the Web Service), and a C# PocketPC app (which also
uses the web service).
When I run the Windows Forms app from the desktop I am able to use the Web
service with no problems. On the other hand, when I run the PocketPC app and
use the Web Service itthrows the following Exception -

Hi,
I have a .net 2.0 windows client that connects to webservices.
In most cases it works fine. However I have one client that gets 'Unable to
connect to the remote server'.
If on that client the exe.config file is deleted, than it works.
The exe.config contains :
<?xml version="1.0" encoding="utf-8" ?>

Hello folks,
I am unable to find appropriate documentation on the type promotion of bit-fields when using the generalised comparison operator "<=>".
The problem is that using the GNU compilers, it seems that the internal comparison operator "<=>" tries to promote arguments from unsigned to signed.
This is as boiled down as I can make it.
Here is my compilation command:
g++-12 -std=c++20 -Wnarrowing bit_field.cpp
Here is the code in...

Overview:
Windows 11 and 10 have less user interface control over operating system update behaviour than previous versions of Windows. In Windows 11 and 10, there is no way to turn off the Windows Update option using the Control Panel or Settings app; it automatically checks for updates and installs any it finds, whether you like it or not. For most users, this new feature is actually very convenient. If you want to control the update process,...

Dear forum friends,
With the development of smart home technology, a variety of wireless communication protocols have appeared on the market, such as Zigbee, Z-Wave, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, etc. Each protocol has its own unique characteristics and advantages, but as a user who is planning to build a smart home system, I am a bit confused by the choice of these technologies. Hello
I'm a network technician in training and I need your help.
I am currently learning how to create and manage the different types of VPNs and I have a question about LAN-to-LAN VPNs.
The last exercise I practiced was to create a LAN-to-LAN VPN between two Pfsense firewalls, by using IPSEC protocols.
I succeeded, with both firewalls in the same network. But I'm wondering if it's possible to do the same thing, with 2 Pfsense firewalls...
