Oracle Translation Hub - Using the Trados Glossary

2 New Member
Hi,

I've been using Oracle Translation Hub with the Trados glossary to translate my application. It worked fine for the past 2 years.

It stopped working for the past couple of days.

Here's the problem. After adding translations to the glossary, i'm trying to apply the glossary to a report.

In the output window, i've got the message saying that the glossary was applied, but the status remains NEW for all labels and nothing actually happened to the report.

Does anyone have any idea why this is happening?

Hi LongPrec, could you please give me the company who provided you with the Trados Multiterm Glossary? My compagny has been contacting the company calle SDL.com (www.sdl.com) to tell us what version of Trados we need but they seemed to know nothing about it.
Please let me know the company that sells Trados Multiterm Glossary.

Thanks to people who submitted content for the Python Glossary: http://manatee.mojam.com/python-glossary I just completed a first pass at folding it into the Python tutorial. It's now a separate appendix to that document. It will take awhile for the changes to show up on the website and in distributions, but if you have named CVS access to the Python distribution, you can get to it now. People with only anonymous CVS access or no...

A (renewed) effort has been launched by Guillaume Lelarge (with the help of Jerome Seyler and myself) to translate PostgreSQL to French. The goal is to translate the various applications, the manuals (doc and man pages), as well as the FAQs. Even if we are not starting completely from scratch, since some elements of previous versions had been translated (we are working on 7.4), this is still quite a challenge. As such we are looking...

I have a query with 5 possible criteria via a form. If criteria is not entered, I use the like Nz() function on the backend query to use an "*" for criteria fields left blank. The query is not returning the full recordset. If the Like Nz() function is used on 1 field, it returns the correct number of records. As soon as I add it on more then one field, it loses records somehow. ??? For example, SELECT .GlossaryID,...

I have an Access2002 database that needs to connect to an Oracle Database. I connected to my Oracle DB in a simple VB6 app using no ODBC data source. How do I do the same thing using VBA in Access? Below is the code I used in the VB app to connect to the Oracle database, and I just can't seem to get it translated to ADO in Access/VBA. Any assistance is appreciated.

Most computers default to English, but sometimes we require a different language, especially when relocating. Forgot to request a specific language before your computer shipped? No problem! You can effortlessly switch the default language on Windows 10 without reinstalling. I'll walk you through it. First, let's disable language synchronization. With a Microsoft account, language settings sync across devices. To prevent any complications,...

Hello folks, I am unable to find appropriate documentation on the type promotion of bit-fields when using the generalised comparison operator "<=>". The problem is that using the GNU compilers, it seems that the internal comparison operator "<=>" tries to promote arguments from unsigned to signed. This is as boiled down as I can make it. Here is my compilation command: g++-12 -std=c++20 -Wnarrowing bit_field.cpp Here is the code in...

Overview: Windows 11 and 10 have less user interface control over operating system update behaviour than previous versions of Windows. In Windows 11 and 10, there is no way to turn off the Windows Update option using the Control Panel or Settings app; it automatically checks for updates and installs any it finds, whether you like it or not. For most users, this new feature is actually very convenient. If you want to control the update process,...

Dear forum friends, With the development of smart home technology, a variety of wireless communication protocols have appeared on the market, such as Zigbee, Z-Wave, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, etc. Each protocol has its own unique characteristics and advantages, but as a user who is planning to build a smart home system, I am a bit confused by the choice of these technologies. I'm particularly interested in Zigbee because I've heard it does some...

Let's talk about the concept of autonomous AI software engineers and no-code agents. These AIs are designed to manage the entire lifecycle of a software development project—planning, coding, testing, and deployment—without human intervention. Imagine an AI that can take a project description, break it down, write the code, debug it, and then launch it, all on its own.... Now, this would greatly impact the work of software developers. The idea...

Hello I'm a network technician in training and I need your help. I am currently learning how to create and manage the different types of VPNs and I have a question about LAN-to-LAN VPNs. The last exercise I practiced was to create a LAN-to-LAN VPN between two Pfsense firewalls, by using IPSEC protocols. I succeeded, with both firewalls in the same network. But I'm wondering if it's possible to do the same thing, with 2 Pfsense firewalls...
