how to handle data beneath the tabular report in rep 6.0 when rep expand vertically

1 New Member
hello

this is my ist post so if i make a wrong post plz guide me

i have ora8i and reports 6.0.

my problem is in report format i.e when my reports expand vertically so the signatures i made they also go down in unorganise way now i want when the report exapnd vertically so the other item (which are user parameter i ahve shown in my reports) shouls also go down to another page in organise fashion.

the report is regarding student marks sheet and at the end there is signatures of examiner and scrutineer so they get distorted when rep expands.

i made user parameter in rep and in the initial value property i give "signature of examiner" signature of scrutineer" so they display fine but when rep exapnds vertically so they get distorted.

plz guide

regards.

Make all other fields fixed except your repeating frame which will expand vertically. this should help you.
Do post back in case if this does not work out. It would be more helpful if you can provide more info about your report.

I'm new to MS Access and having a problem with making a report from an access database. I can't seem to expand the field in the report I called "notes" in the database. All the text is cut off and I need to include it in the report. I don't care if I see the all the text in the database. Can anyone tell me how to do this in the report? I am trying to learn this program in a HURRY as I have a project I need to have done by this weekend....

I have Access 97, and I have a report with a text box which has the "Can Grow" set to yes. Regardless, it still doesn't show all the data of the tet box. It does grow vertically, but the data still looks like this: Rather than Now is the time for all good men to come

I'm sure there's any easy solution to this problem but I've hit a wall trying to figure it out... How can I get a report to rotate to show a row vertically and expand along the length of a page instead of the traditional horizontal/new line format? I can't (and don't want to) use a pivot table view. Ideas? Thanks in advance, Josh

What is the best mechanism/ convention for preventing stacked datagrids from overlapping each other? I'd like to do something similar to a "can shrink/can grow" in an Access report for an aspx page which displays stacked grids. For example: DG_Allergies DG_Benefits

I am developing a shell for a site I am developing in CSS. I have the basics down, but have a couple of problems. Here is the URL of what I have so far: http://www.denverderm.com/div_test/css_test.asp * how do you get the boxes to expand vertically? What I want to do is have the div on the left (next to the nav, in the darker green) and the div containing nav to expand as I start flowing text into the main text div (the one that says...

I'm converting my table-based layouts to css-positioned divs - but the ONLY reason I'm doing it is because it's *considered* a best practice. I don't really see where anything goes hinky when tables are used - but I'm doing it anyway because the HTML and CSS specs says to reserve tables for tabular data. So as I convert my login widgit to a css thing, I'm saying to myself - hey, this form is most certainly "tabular data" - even if it...

Hello, I am wanting a "pretty output" of tabular data generated on the fly and saved in an array (PHP)... That is, I have a link so users can chart (JpGraph) and download (CSV) tabular data, based on their selections on a query web page and using PHP, etc to pull the data out of a PostgreSQL database. I have been requested to make ('on the fly') a 'reporting quality' version of the CSV available for download - sort of like you might get...

Overview: Windows 11 and 10 have less user interface control over operating system update behaviour than previous versions of Windows. In Windows 11 and 10, there is no way to turn off the Windows Update option using the Control Panel or Settings app; it automatically checks for updates and installs any it finds, whether you like it or not. For most users, this new feature is actually very convenient. If you want to control the update process,...

Let's talk about the concept of autonomous AI software engineers and no-code agents. These AIs are designed to manage the entire lifecycle of a software development project—planning, coding, testing, and deployment—without human intervention. Imagine an AI that can take a project description, break it down, write the code, debug it, and then launch it, all on its own.... Now, this would greatly impact the work of software developers. The idea...

Hello I'm a network technician in training and I need your help. I am currently learning how to create and manage the different types of VPNs and I have a question about LAN-to-LAN VPNs. The last exercise I practiced was to create a LAN-to-LAN VPN between two Pfsense firewalls, by using IPSEC protocols. I succeeded, with both firewalls in the same network. But I'm wondering if it's possible to do the same thing, with 2 Pfsense firewalls...
