Hi,
I am working on awk programming which is similar to C programming and
have got a doubt about time function returning a float value.
Ex: 01:01:30 should return 61.5 when i have tried my way i am not able
to get the seconds value (30/60=0.5)

Guys,
Need some of your opinion on an oft beaten track
We have an option of using "goto" in C language, but most testbooks
(even K&R) advice against use of it.
My personal experience was that goto sometimes makes program some more
cleaner and easy to understand and also quite useful (in error handling
cases).
So why goto is outlawed from civilized c programmers community.
is there any technical inefficiency in that.

Guido has decided, in python-dev, that in Py3K the id-based order
comparisons will be dropped. This means that, for example, "{} < "
will raise a TypeError instead of the current behaviour, which is
returning a value which is, really, id({}) < id().
He also said that default equality comparison will continue to be
identity-based. This means that x == y will never raise an exception,
as is the situation is now. Here's his reason:
