Installing Oracle on Linux Redhat

tim
I was trying to install Oracle on a Linux box with Redhat and got an
error message saying the OS had to be Redhat 2.1 or 3.0 (plus some other
non-Redhat versions). Does anyone know what I have to do bypass this
since I am clearly using a higher version of Redhat.

Anyone have any idea how to get the installer up and running. I have had 10G installed on this box before. We scrapped the box, recreated it, and now cannot install Oracle. Tells me Compat-db-4.0.14.5 compat-libstdc++-xxxxxx not installed, but they are. I cannot even open the runistaller at this stage let alone get the database up! Any idea's?

Only 1 DBA will use the Oracle server when necessary. When the database once deployed, Only 1

Hello folks, I am unable to find appropriate documentation on the type promotion of bit-fields when using the generalised comparison operator "<=>". The problem is that using the GNU compilers, it seems that the internal comparison operator "<=>" tries to promote arguments from unsigned to signed. This is as boiled down as I can make it. Here is my compilation command: g++-12 -std=c++20 -Wnarrowing bit_field.cpp Here is the code in...
