oracle10g install on IMacOSX

Hello,

I got this same msg. when trying to install Oracle 10g on my Mac.

See Below:

I tried to install 10g onto a MacMini for development environment but it
wont install. I changed kernal settings, added groups and users, set env
etc like in install instructions but when i runInstaller it gives error:

I click on "Next" button in installer welcome page and get dialog saying

Abnormal program termination...b lah blah..contact support:

"Uknown"
"/tmp/OraInstall2006-.....err"
"/tmp/OraInstall2006-.....out"


The java process stays alive but does not appear to be doing anything in
the activity monitor..

I notice the following text in the .err

Can install work on an Intel MacMini?

My question is ....so what is the solution?...Ive tried Sergio blog and everyone else listed on the Oracle download page but for some reason after I issue the ./runInstaller it gives me the java gui to start and when I do I get the error msg that is sent to /tmp so Ive followed Sergios blog and still no success....

Ive installed oracle on Sun and Windows in the past but this is my first time with OSX and I need help.
