Hi,
I have cases where I connect to the web site and MySQL is not working
:
Message : "Too many connection errors", Unblock with 'mysqladmin
flush-hosts'.
What I did is a script that check out /etc/init.d/mysqld status and if
is not running, then, I restart MySQL.

I am trying to set up a broker-worker system (one broker, multiple and
heterogeneous workers) in python for a local network (though possibly
also over inet). I am using SimpleXMLRPCServer and
xmlrpclib.ServerProxy for connections.
Whatever I do, after about 100,000 to 150,000 XMLRPCalls over a single
ServerProxy connection, I am getting a connection error (usually

Hello everyone,
We have a linux server (Fedora core 7, default install, firewall turned off) and a bunch of windows XP machines on network/domain.
All machines are visible and I can get to both windows and linux by various methods.
We are trying to resolve a problem of not being able to connect to the linux box from the xp machines using python XMLRPC. (This is the module used in the software I am trying to set up)

What might cause the following behavior?
We have a set of front-end programs accessing an Oracle database on
the server.
Things work fine on our older computers and mostly OK on our new
computers - except one particular program, after being used for a few
minutes gives errors like ORA-12571, ORA-03114.
This suggests the network is disconnected, but tnsping shows the
Oracle DB is still there, and the other programs in the suite still
work.

When I try to run my Python Module, two messages pop up consecutively:
1. "Socket Error: No connection could be made because the target machine actively refused it"
2. "IDLE's subprocess didn't make connection. Either IDLE can't start a subprocess or personal firewall software is blocking the connection"

Hello folks,
I am unable to find appropriate documentation on the type promotion of bit-fields when using the generalised comparison operator "<=>".
The problem is that using the GNU compilers, it seems that the internal comparison operator "<=>" tries to promote arguments from unsigned to signed.
