Problem with MERGE and database link

We have trigger for updating tables on two databases that are connected
through db link. It works fine when merging remote table into local, but
when merging lokal table into remote table, it crashes with
end-of-file-communication error.
OS is Win2000, an DB is 9.2.0.1 on both servers.
Can someone help me?
Thanks.

Hello Group, I'm working on two SQL server databases on two different remote servers. What client needs is that his database on one remote server should be mirrored to the other one. The changed should be propogated at regular intervals at the other server. For now i'm quite sure that i'll have to use replication to resolve this issue. ...

First thing I did was try to reset the connect to contracts.mde instead of the original contracts.mdb. Tried this on two diff databases. First I get the .mde file is locked for editing and when I click on okay,...

The data is transferred OK but I've noticed that any dates which fall between 1stday/anymonth/any year and 12thday/anymonth/any year are rearranged in the wrong format. For example 4th July 2005 from the database...

I have started to get a problem when mail merging from my access database to word. When I mail merge the database password is requested to proceed which is odd as the database is already open. I want to write a VBA mail merge code. I want to link the code/macro/dohicky to a nifty little button so it makes life easy. I think I can handle the button part, the code part - not so much. I know very little (actually probably nothing) about VBA and I'm currently learning my way around Access. Basically, I want to click a button in the form...

Overview: Windows 11 and 10 have less user interface control over operating system update behaviour than previous versions of Windows. In Windows 11 and 10, there is no way to turn off the Windows Update option using the Control Panel or Settings app; it automatically checks for updates and installs any it finds, whether you like it or not.
