Hi All,
I'm writing an application that sends out emails, for workflow-item
tracking purposes.
I am using a VERP-style addressing mechanism, whereby I send each
message from an uniquely generated email address, so that I can relate
bounces, notification failures, etc, to the original address to which
the email was sent.

Hello:
Since our application uses ASP, I am posting this in this group. Pardon
if wrong group.
Our product/application replies a lot on bounced back emails, that way
we correct this and let the client know. Off late we are receiving very,
very few of these emails. It turns out, with amount of spamming going on
most of the companies have set up filters. As a result, most of emails,
even though incorrect don't get bounced back.

Hello,
When I send an e-mail to this sample e-mail address sample@mail.com then
there are three options.
1. The e-mail comes over;
2. The e-mail bounce, because the e-mail address doesn't excist;
3. The e-mail bounce, because the e-mail box is full.
Is it posible to check these options?

Hi,
I'm using my IIS 6.0 built in SMTP service to send email from my
application (C#). However, I need to figure out a way to find which
emails are getting bounced. I there any way to intercept bounce backs?
Can I configure the SMTP server somehow?
I'm using C# for sending those emails.

DB2 LUW v8.2 FP 14 RHAS 2.1
Regarding DST:
My OS and java were successfully patched for DST, but the DB2 instance
was never bounced.
The OS returns the correct time, but a 'values current time' in DB2 is
an hour behind. If the OS is correct, shouldn't DB2 also be correct?
To fix it, do I only need to bounce the DB2 instance so that it sees the

Could whoever is responsible for the gateway that is grabbing
my postings off of Usenet and e-mailing them out please fix the
headers in the mail messages so that I don't get the bounce
messages?
While you're at it, might as well fix it for everybody else
too. ;)
Its a bit rude to send out mass e-mail messages with headers
faked up so that the bounce messages go to somebody else.
