I am developing a Windows Forms application in VB.NET that will use .NET
remoting to access the data tier classes.
A very simple way I have come up with is by creating typed (.xsd) datasets.
For example dsParts.xsd and including that in the data tier. I then will
create a class that looks like this
Public Class CPart
Inherits dsParts

For testing purposes I propose to add a schema (testing, how original)
and would like to copy some of my live tables to it, both structure and
data. I know I could use something like dump/restore for the data and
Quest's (BTW this a very nice product) 'create like' function. That
would work, but it seems a lot of work for something DB2 should know how
to do.

i have Access 2000 database. All id is guid, so it is always unique.
several users add data into own copy of this database. then they send .mdb
files to me (by e-mail).
how to copy the new data in my database?
and yes, i want to do it by pressing the button in my C# application...
i have just 2 tabes in db, schema is always the same...

Yes, I can try a redirected Restore from Backup but this method has the irritating requirement of pause, set tablespaces and continue, again much manual intervention.

I have two schema in my network.Let say one is AMS and Another is AMSDATA.
Both contains same table.Let say both the schema have employee table.
But the schema of AMSDATA's employee table data will reflect in AMS
schema of Emplyee table.
