Request for Resume's - Siebel Production Engineer IV

Compensation for this position is such that only the very best should apply.

Position is with Emdeon Business Services (Formerly WebMD) in Nashville, TN.

Under general direction, has duties on instructing, directing, and checking
the work of other production engineering personnel. Acts as lead in the
design, benchmark testing, and documentation of program implementation.
Responsible for applications installation and configuration dealing with the
overall operating system, such as large telecommunicati ons networks, data
security, health, and stability of the application. May customize purchased
applications and assist in maintaining and reviewing technical manuals.
Requires full technical knowledge of all phases of software implementation
and configuration. Responsible for quality assurance review and the
evaluation of new and existing software products. Acts as project leader for
projects with small budgets or limited duration.

Responsibilitie s

a.. Serves as the single point of contact having clear ownership of all
facets of Siebel Enterprise Production Support.
b.. Coordinates with development teams for current and future releases.
c.. Managing Service Level Agreements (SLAs).
d.. Manages expectations of the Project Stake holders.
e.. Develops a business focused approach to delivery with an emphasis on
reducing the TCO and increasing the ROI
f.. Ability to Manage Resourcing and Timeline estimates, Project Plans,
Proposal response themes, etc
g.. Working with project management to develop a plan for their CRM
implementation and providing estimates for the same.
h.. Works closely with end-user groups to ensure operational stability and
that new applications meet the practical needs of the company
i.. Manages system support activities to meet user needs in a timely and
cost effective manner while ensuring the right things get done as per the
governance process.
j.. Collaborate with CRM practice to leverage ideas, knowledge, resources,
best practices and material
k.. Ability to relate to both technical and business users at any level
Job Requirements

Technical Skills

a.. Good understanding of Siebel architecture along with strong
product knowledge
b.. Previous managerial experience (2-4 years) of a Siebel
development/support team, experience with Siebel EAI, security
configuration, and Siebel application.
c.. Experience in large scale system development projects.
d.. Experience in production support of large scale application
systems.
e.. Understanding of Siebel Tools
f.. Knowledge of Oracle, UNIX is a plus
Soft Skills

a.. Excellent working relationship with other team members,
developers, project teams, and management.
b.. Requires good organizational skills with the ability to
prioritize and manage concurrent tasks/requests.
c.. Must have excellent time management skills, meet deadlines and
be results oriented.
d.. Work well with customers and vendors, know when and how hard to
push to maintain a stable and reliable environment.
e.. Candidate should display a strong knowledge of business partner
communication methods and cross team/user relationships with the ability to
clearly articulate issues and requirements to all levels in the
organization.
Experience / Qualifications

a.. Certified Consultant in Siebel 7.x; Strong technical knowledge
of Siebel required.
b.. Five to seven years of Siebel implementation experience required
c.. Experience in implementing Siebel eBusiness applications
including: sales force automation and call center applications
d.. Management and successful delivery of all phases of at least 2
Siebel implementations
