When I run my Facebook app on my blackberry, the battery tends to die much sooner. Is this common? Are there any solutions/tips anyone has to offer?

They do, because they are constantly polling their servers to keep you updated with notifications. At the same time most are designed to minimally interfere with your use. If you have a lo of them(facebook, linkedin, twitter, instagram, etc), especially with their GPS features on, then you might have a battery problem.
Yeah, the same is happening with me. I stopped using it
Yes I do agree to niheel as servers are filled with lotts of data and constant notifications.A s social network keeps on updating wiht every singal second and this might be the reason for battery problems..!
HI ! i also agree with niheel. i also face this kind of problem but i never stop to use it. In Android apps facebook designed user friendly. so user can use it easily.
Yes it does, especially when the apps start automatically when the handset is powered on or don’t go to sleep when the user stop using them. Also multitasking takes a lot of energy – the more apps that are in use at any one time, the more battery consumed.

Hello folks,
I am unable to find appropriate documentation on the type promotion of bit-fields when using the generalised comparison operator "<=>".
The problem is that using the GNU compilers, it seems that the internal comparison operator "<=>" tries to promote arguments from unsigned to signed.
This is as boiled down as I can make it. ...

Overview:
Windows 11 and 10 have less user interface control over operating system update behaviour than previous versions of Windows. In Windows 11 and 10, there is no way to turn off the Windows Update option using the Control Panel or Settings app; it automatically checks for updates and installs any it finds, whether you like it or not. For...

I'm a network technician in training and I need your help.
I am currently learning how to create and manage the different types of VPNs and I have a question about LAN-to-LAN VPNs.

I succeeded, with both firewalls in...
