Hi,
I'm writing a client/server application in which the client send a series of
screenshots to the server to be saved using the tcpclient.
in most cases the first screenshot is transmitted ok and arrives at the
server but from after that i only a couple of KB from the start of the file
which cases the picture to display only the very top (of the screen).

hi,
I work on a computer that is part of a network and uses proxy to connect to net. I cant connect to servers outside my proxy with simple ConnectTo code. I need to know how to make my requests go through proxy. eg,
_socket = new TcpClient("http://msdn.microsoft.com", port);
does not work.

So --my first VB program is to build a database of our large (1000+ networks)
network. I would like to start by collecting all I can from our router
configuration files.
I can see that I can easly use TELNET from a Command window or TELNET:// in IE
but I would think that I should be learning TCPClient.
( next have to read ATM switch configurations)

I can't seem to get these to work over my router. I have all the ports open

Hello everyone,
I am wondering if I am using TCPClient class in C#, how to setup timeout
value? Timeout I mean, when connects to server for the 1st time, and during
<timeoutinterval, if no server response is received, the GetStream method
will return will return other than wait forever.

Hello,
I'm currently trying to implement a simulation program with Kamaelia
and need a reliable TCP connection to a data server.
From Twisted, I know that a method is called if the connection fails
by whatever reason. I tried to get the same results with Kamaelia's
TCPClient component. If I start up the component and try to connect
to a closed TCP port it fails and sends a message out of the signal
box, that's okay.

I've got a little rudimentary client-server app. One runs a server
listening to 'any' ip on a given port and the client attempts to
connect to the external ip of my app. I am on a LAN behind a router
and, undoubtedly, a firewall.
If I make the IP I am trying to connect to 127.0.0.1 everything works

I am unable to find appropriate documentation on the type promotion of bit-fields when using the generalised comparison operator "<=>".
The problem is that using the GNU compilers, it seems that the internal comparison operator "<=>" tries to promote arguments from unsigned to signed.
