How to maintain the state of variable in a windows service everytime the service runs

Hi All,

I'm creating a windows service thats runs for every one hour.

I want to use a variable in that service whose value increments for every one hour the service runs.

Say first time when service runs variable will be set as "setflag = 0 "

Now for every one hour that service runs i need to increment setflag value by one i.e, setflag = setflag + 1

So, how can i do this ...i mean where i need to declare this variable and initialize its value to zero for first time and for every one hour fetch that changed

value and increment it by one.
