How to give rights to SQL Server 2000?

EXEC master..xp_cmdshell 'xcopy ""C:\Program Files\Microsoft SQL Server\MSSQL\Data\name of database" ""D:\New Folder\"" /Z'

When i m executing this query by command prompt it wwas worked.
But when i m trying the same query by suery analyer or thourgh by coding it showes throw
error:-Acess Deined

Give execute rights to the user on xcopy. Better to set full control on xcopy for the user.
