VS2003 requests network authentication in stand alone system

271 100+
hi,
i have created a web project in visual studio 2003 in a networked system and it worked fine. when i tried to access that project through a browser from another system in the same network it requests for a network authentication. after entering the user name and password it works fine.

i copied this project to a stand alone system and tried opening it in vs2003. it requested me for network authentication. after that when ever i try to create a new project in vs2003 it requests me for network authentication and when i cancel it, it says some files are missing and the project is not created.

i tried re- installing the software then also i get the same problem. can any one help me to solve this problem.

thanks
