Image Aquisition/Scanning on ASP.Net Web page

3 New Member
I'm developing an asp.net application with c#.
In one of its pages I need to connect to a scanner and aquire image from it.
Is it possible at all?
If yes, is there any commercially published control or application or libray
that would help?
Thank you in advance.

I had the same question a few days ago, but I didn't get any usefull informations...

First of all, you didn't specify witch scanner do you want to use (servers or clients).

If you want to access clients scanner, you will have a lot of problems becouse Internet security won't let you access it...
My solution was to make a windows application, and then the web application just executes it with help from vbscript...

But if you need to access servers scanner, I can't help you...

I hope that this post helped... Yeah, and if you need help with accessing scanner on clients computer than I'm your man...
