Hi all,
I've got a rather weird problem in VS 2005 (and VS 2003 for that matter)
when trying to debug a piece of Visual C++ code with asm bits in it.
The problem is that I can't step over that code and breakpoints will
fail, however as soon as I remove "asm" keyword (and assembly
instructions) from that function (its mixed asm and C++), it will step
over just fine, I can view disassembly etc.
Attempt to put a breakpoint over code there would show hint that no
symbols were loaded, so in effect break point is not set, what's worse I
can't even step into using F11 on disassembly screen at the point when
this function with asm in it is called.
Am I missing something?
regards,
Alex
