Problem registering a component.

I am having a problem registering a component using regasm.

The following error appears

C:\Windows\microsoft.NET\Framework\v2.0.50727\RegA sm.exe is not a valid
Win32 application.

Any suggestions to the reason for this message.

Thx

Mark

Hi,

Thank you for your post.

As Michael suggested, the file seems corrupted. On x86 system, the
regasm.exe in .NET Framework v2.0.50727 should have following properties:

size: 53,248 bytes
md5 checksum: E70F996E6DBA04BDFDE5AF016A5AE478

Hope this helps. Please feel free to post here if anything is unclear.

Hi,

Have you checked that whether or not the regasm.exe is corrupt? If it's not
the case, please feel free to post here.
