Hello folks,
I have VS .NET 2003 Academic and get a missing file error when I try
to create a Windows Forms Application via the Visual C++ Project type.
Is this project type available on the Academic version? If not is there
any way around it other than having to buy VS standard? Thanks for any
input.
Thanks,
Paul S
Visual Studio .NET 2003 Academic Edition is the same as the Professional
Edition with two differences (I was educated on this topic by one of the MS
product managers whose name escapes me after two+ years, sorry):
1. The Academic Edition comes with an extra CD for academic tools, and
2. The Academic Edition does not support remote debugging.
Your product should support C++ WinForm apps. Have you tried a repair
install?
