Portlets

Mem
Hi,

i'm thinking to implement an MCMS 2002 site. I have this requirement from
the client: use portlet technology for inserting new services.

I have no idea if mcms and asp.net could be considered "compliant" with
portlet technology.

Could you please explain me which is the possible solutions?

Thanks

Hi Mem,
You can go with MCMS 2002 and ASP.NET.

Have a look at these two links. You will get to know more about this.

http://www.microsoft.com/cmserver/de...troduction.asp

http://www.microsoft.com/sharepoint/

Suggestions are most welcome..

Microsoft Content Management Server with SharePoint Technologies'. Have a

Yes, but i don't understand wht you "link" "portlet" with sharepoint..
I thougth that portlet are not supported by microsoft. I'm mistaking?

Or you are talking about this?
I know that this year a WSRP Web Part Toolkit hase been released taht
includes a ready-to-install 'consumer' component that displays WSRP portlet
services provided by a variety of vendors within Web Part pages hosted by
Windows SharePoint Services and SharePoint Portal Server 2003. This is a Web
Part capable of consuming and rendering output from Web services conforming
to the OASIS standard for Web Services for Remote Portlets (WSRP).

Is it possible to use this web-parts in a MCMS 2002 site instead of
sharepoint site?
Mcms templates ar aspx files, so i should be able to add web part in ASP.NET
pages or not?

Thanks.
