edit menu disabled in visual studio .net !?

Hello,
I've had Visual Studio .NET for C# only two weeks now. Today I encounter a
big problem with the developer. The edit menu is disabled! Both using the
right click of the mouse, the edit menu bar, AND the CTRL + ... of the
keypad! I can't even delete items!!!!! I should be more spacific: when you
start visual studio .net, the edit menu works but after the first use it no
longer works!? If I restart the program then, again, the edit menu works
until the second try.

Does anybody know what is going on here? I'm thinking I should try
reinstalling the software....?

Thanks,
Bryan

Bryan,

Before you start reinstalling it is better first to make a complete new
project and than try if it is in that the same. I have seen crazy situations
where that happens, however that had to do with code (and it was the VBNet
IDE).

I hope this helps,

Cor
