Hi,
I Have a text file & I want to open it in excel sheet ( withou
importing). I have written code for it, but it is not opening exce
sheet. It opens the text file, but does not create a excel sheet
populate it. I do not know what the problem is, can someone please hel
out with this one,

Hai all,
I am trying to read and write to an excel sheet using C# in a
webform...
I'v read alot of tutorials and used it...it works BUT ONLY
ONCE...Especially when writing to the sheet...
I mean when I want to read its fine....
But when I write to the sheet...first time it does...but after I open
it ( to see the result manually )...close it...and try to write again,
it gives me an error ( configuration error ) and says "Access

Hi,
I need to use an Excel Sheet in ASP.NET application so that the users can
enter (copy, paste ) large number of rows in this Excel Sheet. Also, Whatever
the USER ENETRS needs to go to the SQL DATABASE, probably by the click of a
button.
Is this possible? & what is the BEST APPROACH for doing this? & also if any
links are there do tell those to me too coz I have no idea how to go about
doing it.

hi,
I'm reading an excel sheet which contains more than 500 chars in a single
column using OledbDataReader. But while reading value using
dr.toString(), its taking only 255 chars. It removed the remaining chars.
How to solve this problem?

I know basic perl (regular expressions, pattern matching, string manipulation, reading writing into text files).
Yet, my requirement is to read an input text file -> process this input file through a Perl script and the output generated from this script is to be written into an Excel sheet file (into each cells of the sheet).

Here i am using Apache POI for reading the Excel sheet in java and then i am capturing the excel sheet data into a ArrayList and then i am storing it in DB.
Any Other way to store the Excel data directly into the DB.
