I'm using the code below to loop through some images and resize each image
twice, once to create a thumbnail and once to create a small image.
The page stops loading around the 38th image out of 40+. Not always the same
place but it's either 38th or 39th image, which I find strange as it's not
consistent.
At first I thought it was a timeout problem so I added - set_time_limit(0);
and ignore_user_abort (true); to prevent it timing out,...

Any idea, how to dynamically resize controls on the form when, the form is
resized, let say maximized? Is there any elegant, logical way to do this

First of all, I'm not real experienced with HTML or ASP.NET. I'm doing my
first ASP.NET app.
I'm working in VS.NET, and I'm laying out my controls in HTML tables. It
seems that every once in a while, VS.NET will decide it doesn't want to
allow me to resize the columns by dragging them anymore. This happened once
before and I somehow managed to fix it. I now have a form that I damn near
completed and now it's gone into this mode. Whenever...

Can anybody tell me how or refer me a link where I can find the client side
javascript to make the positions and resizing of the controls on .aspx page
independent of screen resolution. As I am using Grid layout and it uses
pixel units.
Thanks.

Something strange going on at my place. The ability to move controls or
resize them using CTRL,ALT,SHIFT etc does not work any longer. Anyone else
seen this? Do I have to re-install VB?(NOOOOOOOOOOOOO)
Thanks

I'm surprised that I'm only know discovering this problem, but I
suppose I've never needed to change the dimension that is opposite to
the docking of the control. That is, when I've docked a control to
Top, I've never needed to change its height and vice-versa. But, now I
would like to do this and I'm not sure what the "right way" is to
perform this.
Should I just add an extra container (panel, usercontrol, etc) around
the control...

I put 4 webbrower controls on a winform. I can set the initial position of
the controls during design time. however, I need to be able to allow isers
to resize the windows (maximize, for example) and have the browser windows
to resize accordingly. To start with, I would like teh controls remain in
their own quadrant, 1, 2, 3, 4 respectively.
Any help is greatly appreciated.

I have a form with a number of panel controls on it. I have overriden the
paint event (of the panel controls) to provide custom painting. What I have
done is to use the Paint event to paint the background colour of a number of
panel controls to be a gradient colour. This works fine. Is there a better
way??
The problem I have is that when I resize the parent form I get alot of
flickering as the paint events are constantly fired. I have...

I am wanting to move and/or resize controls at runtime. I have download and
integrated this application:
http://www.codeproject.com/KB/miscctrl/CSharpRectTracker.aspx
It is the C# Rect Tracker, and works great. However, I still need to seek
the ability to do a few more things. If anybody has enhanced C# Rect
Tracker, and/or knows of other code, including commercial product to do the
following, I would appreciate it.

Most computers default to English, but sometimes we require a different language, especially when relocating. Forgot to request a specific language before your computer shipped? No problem! You can effortlessly switch the default language on Windows 10 without reinstalling. I'll walk you through it.
First, let's disable language synchronization. With a Microsoft account, language settings sync across devices. To prevent any complications,...

Hello folks,
I am unable to find appropriate documentation on the type promotion of bit-fields when using the generalised comparison operator "<=>".
The problem is that using the GNU compilers, it seems that the internal comparison operator "<=>" tries to promote arguments from unsigned to signed.
This is as boiled down as I can make it.
Here is my compilation command:
g++-12 -std=c++20 -Wnarrowing bit_field.cpp
Here is the code in...
