Hi there,
I've got a problem that should be easy to solve, but I'm having a
nightmare in doing so.
We have an app deployed to a large number of laptops and I've
discovered a problem. We've made an assumption that the GPRS card will
always been on COM4. This isn't always the case and I need to code
something that dynamically sets the correct value in the app before
trying to dial.

Heya,
I can't seem to find any references to a way that I can set the system alarm clock.
I am using a Motorola Q which is running Windows Mobile 5.0 Smartphone.
I am not sure if the best way to do this woudl be directly through a microsoft.windowsmobile class or maybe directly through maybe like just altering the registry somewhere (I have tried to locate the alarm time in registry and cannot find it either).
I basically want to be...

Hi,
I am developing an application for windows mobile device using C#. I am
trying to launch that application by itself even if the device shut down for
any reason or restart. I think the best way is to use the SystemState or
RegistryState nameSpaces and applicationLauncher property but I don’t know
how I can apply the codes when the device turns on or restarts. Would you
please someone help me on that?
Thanks

Hi,
I recently read an article (and video) on MSDN about making a Windows Mobile
device enter unattended mode instead of suspended mode when the the
standby/power button is pressed. This allows applications to continue to run
instead of effectively pausing them when the screen is turned off. This is
achieved by PInvoking PowerPolicyNotify.
I have been developing a WM (PocketPC) application for a while now and
testing it on my HTC...

the device. Those functionalities should happen by programming using C#
codes. Could someone please help me with that? Is there any site that
explains how to disable the power key on PDA device using C# codes?
Thanks,

Which Windows mobile devices are better for programming. We are currently using HP iPAQ 910 running Windows Mobile 6.1 professional.
Our applications mainly deal with ad Wi Fi communication between mobile devices. We are mainly developing in .Net - C# Our applications will have simple GUIs.
So are there any devices better from network configuration point of view.

Dear forum friends,
With the development of smart home technology, a variety of wireless communication protocols have appeared on the market, such as Zigbee, Z-Wave, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, etc. Each protocol has its own unique characteristics and advantages, but as a user who is planning to build a smart home system, I am a bit confused by the choice of these technologies. I'm particularly interested in Zigbee because I've heard it does some...

Let's talk about the concept of autonomous AI software engineers and no-code agents. These AIs are designed to manage the entire lifecycle of a software development project—planning, coding, testing, and deployment—without human intervention. Imagine an AI that can take a project description, break it down, write the code, debug it, and then launch it, all on its own....
Now, this would greatly impact the work of software developers. The idea...

Hello
I'm a network technician in training and I need your help.
I am currently learning how to create and manage the different types of VPNs and I have a question about LAN-to-LAN VPNs.
The last exercise I practiced was to create a LAN-to-LAN VPN between two Pfsense firewalls, by using IPSEC protocols.
I succeeded, with both firewalls in the same network. But I'm wondering if it's possible to do the same thing, with 2 Pfsense firewalls...
