Is it possible to set up an event handler or something else
so that when *any* link on the page is clicked it 'fires-up',
executes some JS and then continues to process the link
that was clicked?
(Without having JS or 'onClick' added to each & every link?)
I've looked everywhere but can't find out how,
or if it's even possible via...

Is there a maximum recommended value for setting the timeout value in

timeout="20"
/>
What are the possible repercussions of setting this value to high?
I have a user base whose job tasks require them at times to open a asp.net
page and ignore it for extended periods of time. The default...

I'm planning on persisting sessionState in a database (not MS SQL). Is
there a way to do this using the web.config file? I see that you can set
the sessionState mode="SQLServer" to persist to a MS SQL database, but can it
be done somehow while using another database? If not, what are some ideas
for the best way to handle this...

The subject says it all, more or less.
With sessionState mode=InProc in web.config this works fine, using this
approach in the global.asax:
In the session_start event the count up:
Application=(int)Application+1;
In the session_end event the count down:
Application=(int)Application-1;

Using dotnet 2.0 sp1,
I've got ASP.NET session state working ok in SQLServer mode, but the
sessions never seem to expire.
e.g if I add a timeout attribute like so :
<sessionState mode="SQLServer"
sqlConnectionString="Integrated Security=SSPI;data source=localhost"
timeout="1" >

Hello folks,
I am unable to find appropriate documentation on the type promotion of bit-fields when using the generalised comparison operator "<=>".
The problem is that using the GNU compilers, it seems that the internal comparison operator "<=>" tries to promote arguments from unsigned to signed.
This is as boiled down as I can make it. ...

Overview:
Windows 11 and 10 have less user interface control over operating system update behaviour than previous versions of Windows. In Windows 11 and 10, there is no way to turn off the Windows Update option using the Control Panel or Settings app; it automatically checks for updates and installs any it finds, whether you like it or not. For...

I succeeded, with both firewalls in...
