Wanna make some dough? I need some FO docs created.

Hey, y'all.

I've got some XSL files I need to fomat for PDF creation.
Unfortunately, I'm on the steep side of the learning curve, and I'm
workin' under a deadline. It's only 20 pages long, and hell, even if
someone could do the first couple or three, we could work with those to
create the rest.

I can give you an XML file with some data to render against, and the
XSL/HTML for the display version of these docs. Formatting is very
important to us, so we need FO files that'll generate some clean PDFs
that adhere to our templates exactly.

I'm pretty sure that this'd be a snap for someone with some experience
in coding FO docs. So if you wanna be well-compensated for a couple of
hours work, lemme know.

I assume he wants to use XSL-FO to format his source documents as PDF
files.

So "FO docs" is presumably an informal term that refers to any of the
files (i.e. documents) that are written or produced as part of that
process.

The following two passages from the python documentation *appear* to contradict each other. Equally possible (or more likely !) is that I misunderstand it : eval : This function can also be used to execute arbitrary code objects (such as those created by compile()). In this case pass a code object instead of a string. The code object must have been compiled passing 'eval' as the kind argument.

I've just started digging into how python works.. I found that other mudules are clearly declared like one file per a module.. But the only os.path doesn't have their own file.. ye I know is has actually depending on os like in my case posixpath.. What I'd love to know is.. when I call import os.path.. how happened under the hood?

I have fixed almost all of the outstanding bugreports and feature request for gmpy: divm doesn't leak memory any more, truediv and floordiv are implemented for all types, etc -- in the current CVS version (one thing I must still look at is divm's behavior when its args are not mutually prime). It currently compiles w/o warnings, and passes all of its 1040+ tests, w/the current release of GMP (4.1.4), Python (2.4.2), MacOSX (10.4.3), XCode...

Hello folks, I am unable to find appropriate documentation on the type promotion of bit-fields when using the generalised comparison operator "<=>". The problem is that using the GNU compilers, it seems that the internal comparison operator "<=>" tries to promote arguments from unsigned to signed. This is as boiled down as I can make it. Here is my compilation command: g++-12 -std=c++20 -Wnarrowing bit_field.cpp Here is the code in...

Overview: Windows 11 and 10 have less user interface control over operating system update behaviour than previous versions of Windows. In Windows 11 and 10, there is no way to turn off the Windows Update option using the Control Panel or Settings app; it automatically checks for updates and installs any it finds, whether you like it or not. For most users, this new feature is actually very convenient. If you want to control the update process,...
