Hello. I'm looking for a good C++ reference book. I learned C++ a year
ago. It is very broad and I need something to refer to. Particularly
about syntax (using -> versus ".", etc.), using classes, C++ functions,
etc. Basically, a good overall C++ language reference.
I need a reference book. Not a "begin from scratch" instruction book,
unless there is one that is also a good reference.

Hi All,
I'm just looking for some suggestions on a good book that will cover the
C++ standard well.
I Know C (quite) well, and learnt this language by reading as much
source code as possible and using Herbert Schildt's C The Complete
Reference (4th Edition) as a reference where needed.
I was thinking about purchasing C++: The Complete Reference (4th
Edition) and attempting to learn C++ in a similar way.

I have a Waite Group Turbo C++ bilble(1990) ISBN 0-672-22742-8.
I like it because it gives me examples of most of C library I may use.
But that book is a little bit old. Does anyone know any newer C book
similar to that one? A newer C book which is a good reference guide
for C library?
It seems Waite Group does not have new version of that C/C++ bilble.

Hello folks,
I am unable to find appropriate documentation on the type promotion of bit-fields when using the generalised comparison operator "<=>".
The problem is that using the GNU compilers, it seems that the internal comparison operator "<=>" tries to promote arguments from unsigned to signed.
This is as boiled down as I can make it.
